Earth Day is Everyday at Captain Marden’s Seafoods
In order to minimize food waste at our retail fish market and restaurant we have partnered with A Place to Turn in Natick. A volunteer comes by every Tuesday and picks up surplus seafood dinners, quiche, pie, soups and other items that we have stored in our freezers. Our wholesale division donates bulk fish pieces to The Greater Boston Food Bank as well as gurry (waste parts from cleaning fish) to local fishermen to use as bait.
